has anyone fitted an oil temp gauge to a later 20VT that has voltage instead of oil temp?

i wondered if its possible to fit a sandwich plate type arrangement given the silly location of the oil filter?

cheers

ally

I've looked into this and found that you would have to drill the sump to mount the sensor.... \:\(

Having a look through demon thieves, there is a company that uses your existing sump plug and taps into that for mounting a switch for an oil pressure guage. Only downside i can see to this, the sensor will stick out proud and likely to being caught on speed bumps etc..

Think Automotive have given me some nice little stickers to put on the sump which tell me how hot it gets. \:\)

I bought a replacement sump plug tapped for a temperature gauge. From Demon Tweaks IIRC
