Hi all

1998 Coupe 20V Turbo 74K miles, AC, no tax atm, not leather inside, overall good condition.

Haven't posted in so long I had to register again. Anyway I am selling my coupe after 9 happy years.

My question is do I sell it as it is for approx £1200 ish (assuming I put a 12 Month MOT on shortly)or spend:

approx £450 (quoted by local body/paint shop) to make it look all nice again on the outside. At the moment there are a few scratches and crazed areas etc.
approx £450 on cam belt/72K service (the engine was actually replaced at appox 35K miles a few years ago so not sure how vital this would be.)

If I did one or both of these do you reckon I could increase selling price by more than I spent?

Sell it as it is. Also the colour and service history will affect the value as will an MOT (full worth more).

And I doubt you will get back the money you paid.
