Look up Pro Alloy straight induction on the forum. Most coop owners with FMIC get this too. It puts the air intake where you propose

mine is down there on the end of the SIP, but there is a plastic bit between it and the wheel, I wouldnt want it right next to the wheel without protection getting covered in crap

Mine is where picture two is with a SIP and with a splash guard. What side of the road do you drive on over in Denmark? Just remove one fog light to get plenty of airflow

Yeah i need new splash guards - we drive on the right side of the road. And i've removed both fog lights - for airfilter and oilcooler
