How much longer 2-3 mm?
If so you have two choices. File the pads or remove the stainless steel guide on the Callipers and clear away the corrosion that has built up under them and forced them out. However removing the guides is not easy as the torx head screw easily gets rounded.

A very common coupe problem and why I file my pads \:D

i managed to get all 3 of the 4 out when i was cleaning it up to put the pads in, the amount of cr@p that was around them was mental!!
http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j249/Dan_V6/DSC00252.jpg there is more than a couple off mm difference...
have i got the right pads? has someone got the right part number?!

Dude, I told you that these guys hasn't got these pads and I gave you part number already. The ones you are now asking for are Ferodo DS Performance not DS2500.

PS for a set of good pads you have to pay some £££ ;\)

Would you mind to post a pic of the box because I cannot believe that these are DS2500 ;\) In fact, I am sure you bought wrong ones, mate. Have a look on this thread: http://www.fiatcoupeclub.org/forum/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=594734 and here: http://www.rsattitude.fr/2-237-25-plaquettes-ferodo-racing-ds2500-etriers-bre.html

The ones you bought are DS2100 I suppose.

Jack

i will post a pic of the box when i get home, they might not be the ds2500, that would explain why they where black and not red like the rears....
they work at the mo so they will do for now \:\)

FCP721 is the shape, the "H" at the end denotes the pad material, in this case DS2500.

so, the part number u should get is FCP721H.
