Hello once again. I thought I would post this as a timely reminder that the new footballing season is almost upon us and thus it might be time we started putting our teams together and creating our own league.

I could create a league myself and post here but I feel out of place because I am not part of the fold anymore so I would prefer a regular who can keep thier eye on events to do this.

Very pleased with my team this year.

I reckon under Redknapp, Crouch and Defoe will make a killer strike partnership and become englands regular paring this year. They arent silly money either so thats 2 out of my 3 strikers for you.

The more the merrier so come on peeps, can I suggest that if anyone knows a friend or relative that would be interested to invite them also. Always best to get in from the start rather than make a team mid season starting on zero points.

my team finally starts to make some progress, 81 points this week and thats without either striker scoring a flaming goal!

Frustrating week for me...

I got rid of Belletti because he wasnt getting any starts, and as soon as I do they they play him and he scores

Then Torres gets injured

And all my players on the field were getting 2 points while my players on the bench were getting 6 and 8!

Vicks, if you google 'Telegraph password' there's a site that updates them. I did the Telegraph one last year but am doing the Guardian one this time around - cos they save the whales, and its free. And I'm doing pretty good (well, way better than the fccuk one)

You can buy/sell and sub until each game week deadline. If you do it after the game week deadline it takes effect for the next game week.

its those with Defoe or Torres (especially as captain) that have moved up the table this week..

This would be much better if it auto picked the highest scoring players and formation from your 15 man squad each week, as my outfield players are scoring 1 or 2 and my unused subs are getting 6.

I've had a rainy 3 weeks and dropped into second place in all but one of my leagues so I had not other options. My team now looks ready to bounce back though.

i would rather be second than bottom.. dunno why i changed my team as the last couple of weeks i have been getting 40ish points, everytime i seem to take someone out they start to scoring!

My team really is useless, Lampard, Gerrard, Carragher, Zaki, Defoe, Carew, Cole, Evra, Ashley Young and Stephen Ireland all belong in the championship!

I had a good week, although still miles away from Vinno!

IMO bin Gerrard, Geovanni has more points than him and he's £5.4m cheaper!

As soon as I buy him he will stop scoring, it happened with Zaki, Defoe, and Lampard

I know the feeling, it's bloody annoying when that happens! I chopped in Zaki and the same thing happened, one goal in the last 5 games! AND he didn't even play this weekend
