I thought id start by saying, today was very good, even my very pregnant partner had a sort of enjoyable day, the people i met were nice people, also i liked seeing so many coupe's in one place, and some very nice coupe indeed. Also cheers to Barnacle for finding errors on my car he he he now im worried it is going to die, only joking, also to countrycruising and his boy, what a guy to stand in that heat and fix peoples cars.

Nice to meet those who we met and maybe those who we didn't meet, maybe we'll have anohter chance sometime. It was a bit of a strange one IME - I thought people would collect and then maybe all leave together and do some noise demos etc., but a load of people seemed to leave after about an hour. I was look forward to a play with Trappy and a fight with Cappo... or the othe way round or something.

Cheers for CountyCruising on the very pro looking repaired manifold too. I may be after some porto doors sometime - both sides. Thinking about it, a bonnet would be nice... and a boot...

tbh I was too busy just talking to people in close proximity and had no idea who was who really or who was going, then I think you were pretty busy with your laptop. I did get a vid of you doing that though which could work out to be a nice advert for the widget... but we were melting, burning and had a long drive back

There will be other times. That Inn was a right haunt for interesting machinery. And btw, I was chatting to the Cobra guys for a bit, they were all replica's with Rover V8s (SD1?) engines in some.

Other stuff I saw, that (non-vxr Coop-meat) Monaro, Renault Spyder (first one I've ever seen not on a track!), F355, SL600, R8, about 4 caterhams, trikes, GT500 'Stang, some guy what looked like a pre-WWI 'car' and some slow mundane Dowdi S3... Good place to have meets! = agaaaain!

Who was the guy in the GVT V6? I just missed recording him as he pulled off. Pity, sounded well nice!

btw, mine was the different looking, dirty a$$ed, bruiser car that would go Brrrrr TSH-T-T-t-t-t at off-boost speeds. Joe's boy seem to love it, anyway.

And DidCoop when that porsche started to pull onto the motorway i started speeding up to have a race but i got told very swiftly by my partner to stop it , so i had to shut off (i wish i had been on my own ) It was a shame that people started leaving so early, but then i suppose people have other things to do, was worth doing a 140 mile round trip, beautiful day
