Well lads doesnt look like i wont be able to come I'm afraid. Ill be coming down the road to Baz's home town to work as he heads north to enjoy himself. Unfortunatly I've got two hopes of getting locum cover down in deepest darkest dumfrieshire, Bob and No.... and Bob just left town!

By the way, if anyone is familiar with the camera locations; there's one that's been covered up for years with 'Not in Use' on the cover. It's about 25 miles south of Aberdeen. It's in action again.

Nice to see everyone today and glad that there were no casualties. I do, however, feel that there was definately potential for more boost....

I got 280 bhp and 260 lbft of torque, roughly which is about what I'd thought. Running a bit rich and idle is still all over the place so it'll be interesting to see what a remap will achieve.

Well on the road home I was pushing the car a wee bit more now that I know the fuelling was ok and I think I can feel the slightly increased torque and the car definitely seems quicker but I don`t know if that`s just down to the increased boost compared to before .

TBH I was slightly disappointed that I never got the bhp hike I thought I would get with fitting the Gtec1 chip,especially when Sparky`s Coop has pretty much same level of mods but there was around 30bhp of a difference .

I guess i`ll see what I get with the chargecooler and GM EBV fitted and if that doesn`t satisfy then i`ll probably head down the well-trodden path of FMIC+better turbo (I can`t believe I just said that ) .

Disappointed with my top end figure as well..but atleast good torque made up for it. I think i'll have to say i'm retiring from modding now
