What alarm/fob should I have? #650735

When I bought the car, I was only supplied with the key, and no alarm fob. I'm assuming its an early alarm, as its the type with a bike lock-like key to engage/disengage in the glovebox, and it also has the button/LED bit near the rear view mirror.

I'd like to get a new fob for it, but unfortunately i don't know what alarm it is! Any suggestions?

hard to say, maybe Scorpion. Very difficult to get the fobs these days especially of no code card. Probably best to get an aftermarket system fitted (cobra, toad good makes). I assume your insurers know the alarm is not functioning (if you declared it having one)? \:\)
