Dam you all to hell I already have a HID conversion, but I can't resist a bargain...... ..... so I just went on Ebay and bought a set of these HIDs Karlos475 I blame you. Next time we meet up you can fit them on my main beam (that's not a sexual connotation by the way ) Seriously though.... £35!!! Bargain!

Nismo, Mine simply hooked into the existing wiring for the light with zero hassle - mounting the ballast was the only job needing to be thunk about As far as running straight from the batt?? Mine sure didn't. For instructions the "How To Guide" off of here for the installation is pretty much bang on for the step by step guide!!

mine run straight from the battery using a switch from the main beam stalk to turn on and off , sounds abit more fidderly than the set you have karlos but shouln't burn the light adjusters out as not using the fiat wiring , have installed them now and all is working ok ( thanks for the info karlos ) , just waiting for the night to roll in to see the difference from standard , will let you know what i think and get some pic's up

For anyone with standard lights thinking about buying these, don't think twice - do it. Changing to HIDs from the standard lights is one of the best mod's you can do to a coupe. We were buying these kits for almost £200 2 or 3 years ago, so at £35 it really is a no brainer.

well , i headed to southend last night after installing my hid's and i have to say what a vast improvement on the standard lights , they gave me double if not triple more light than the standard lights so if you are thinking about getting a set i would say "do it" its a worth the time and effort and at this price you can go wrong

Having fitted the 6000k to the dips they are very good however i am awaiting delivery of my 2nd set for the full beam because as has been stated already, the "cut off" of light on the dips is very defined and dramatic. Putting on the full beam with normal halogens is a bit sickening as they are as yellow as pi$$ by comparison. HID all round for me soon i hope - i'l be fitting them to the foggies there after. As for the side lights i've got LED's in, and they do look goood especially with the HIDs. Be sure and get the quad LED type tho - vast difference to the single LED - learnt these things the hard way so you don't have to.

Damn! i hate it when things like this come up. its just too good a deal not to buy!! so much for saving money this month! went for 6k for main beam and will see how they look and may go for the 8k for the full beams at a later date.

i would be thinking of 6000k main beam, led sidelights and 8000k as spot light. This has got me thinking. What type would be most effective for the foglights, the 6k or the 8k? Does either 'type' of light penetrate thick fog any better?
F****** b****** thing...
