Can everybody list their times on 402m and please give us your modifications.

My personal best TT is 14.205
(and I am not fuc... pleased with it I think it has to go little below 14sec)
I am trying to find out what could be stoping my car to break the 14sec limit, becouse when it was a complete stock it run 14.35x seconds.

I have a custom decat straight trough exhaust 60mm,K&N panel filter with drilled airbox,K&N air breather,Baileys DV36 BOV,Gtec1,manual boost controler set to 1.2bar,new turbo with 360 degree bearing, stagered seals, and a bigger compresor wheel, modified comp housing,Walbro 255l fuel pump with wiring mod,Good year Eagle F1 tyres 205/50/R16 on 7,5J rims with 16mm distance plates.
Complete turbo and IC system isnt leaking anywher, boost is holding prety well almost to redline, I am not sure what to do next. I know best way to go is to go on RR and check everything, but till that happens any opinions???

you need to do some reading - there is an entire section of the forum devoted to drag times and rolling road results - everything you need is in there

However, to summarise

A standard 20VT should do the quarter mile in about 14.0 - 14.5 seconds @ just under 100mph

300bhp will get you to about 13.0 - 13.5 @ 105 - 110mph

400bhp will get you down to about 12.5 seconds @ 110 - 115

500bhp will give you about 12.0 at 120 - 125

With your modifications, I would suggest you should be aiming for 13.75

What is your 60 foot time?

Stock Coupe run a quarter in a 14,6 sec. And it depends on weather how fast car will be..
My modifications are :
K&N Filter,
Decat,
GTEC1 ( thanks to you and GrahamL ),
Manual Boost controler...
Thats all for a 14,028 track time..
Without a chip it was about 14,6 sec...

What are the conditions of the drag strip? Over here a lot of people use Santa Pod for the 1/4 mile. It's used for top fuelers so the strip is not your average tarmac! It'd be easier to get a better launch (and time) at the 'pod than at an airfield.

As Nigel said what is your 60ft time?

\:\)
well we use an old airport runway all over our contry (Bosnia and Herzegovina)
Santa Pod is a bit 2 far for us ;\)

And we dont have a 60ft time,it is not measured on our races.
I am sure that we all would have a better times if we would have a better tarmac, but since we dont,I have to find some other way.
