yes, as long as the stud pattern and offset is correct, and the wheel design clears the front calipers.

215/40 17 is what i have on my 8x17 azevs

cheers for posting up the question for me Dave \:\)

The wheels in question are believed to be Pro Race 1's in Black. They were fitted to a VW Corrado, I've asked for more details about the wheels but the lad doesn't have much clue as to the info I'm asking for.

I know they are 4x100 PCD.
Unsure what the offset they are \:\(

if the offset is not correct to clear the calipers youve got 2 options dan

1. hubcentric spacers AND longer wobly bolts (not the safest option imo)

or 2. H&R do a set of hub adaptors (4x98 - 4x100), these bolt onto the hubs, and the wheels bolt onto the adaptors. They will act as 20mm spacers and correct the PCD for you \:\) , only problem is they are £100 per axle \:o

Or there's a company called AC Motorsport who sell 20mm hubcentric spacers that bolt onto the hub and then the wheel bolts onto the spacer, these are £50 but then you need wobbly bolts aswell.

Why not just get the holes drilled to 4 x 100 pcd on the spacer for bolting the wheels to and 4 x 98 pcd for bolting onto the hub? You could at least ask them if they'll make you a set like that.

That sounds like a more viable option Matt.
They are not pro race 1's, but some rare (read 'Discontinued') Matt Black 17's.
Tried to put them up against the brembo's but the bloody locator studs were in the way so couldnt get them flat against the hub. but looking at it, 10mm spacers would probably just clear the brakes. They are 38e offset (IIRC, I have slept since then heh.)
Not sure what size the centre bore is either, but obviously there was a spigot ring in there to fit them to a VW.

Dan
