Well, after 2 and a bit years stored in the garage LE #0111 is back on the road. I'd only intended to SORN it for the summer of 2006 while I enjoyed a bit of fun in the X1/9 but the fun kind of lasted a bit longer than I'd expected ! LOL.

Anyway, after a bit of work to free up the handbrake and a couple of replacement bulbs she's back ! If I keep driving it like I did this morning then a tank of fuel won't last me 3 days - it's a bit addictive isn't it ?!

Here are some pics of the car from before she went away :

I'm sure I'll be out taking more piccies on some of these crisp (cold) Autumnal mornings \:\)

Anyway, it's great to be back in the Coop and to be able to overtake stuff again. Hooray.

Loving the X19, it's such a cool car.
Any rust?

Philip

God you guys have some nice cars! I thought mine was in pretty good nick paint wise, but yours are all so flippin shiny!! They really do look like cars that cost far, far more money.

You've inspired me to spend the weekend polishing mine. Won't be as good, but worth a try!

Ah yes, indeed ! I think I must've seen your car at Stanford Hall then ?

That's a very special and secret trick called ... long exposure ! It's all a trick of the camera, rather than genuinely bright lights !

Haha, funny. (seriously, you don't really need me to answer that question do you ??! Is Rabbi Goldstein Jewish ?)
