Only owned Coupés for last 3 years or so, but can't imagine not having one, though will most likely sell the other, but definitely not on the cheap.

Still got my Plus, bought in December 2007 with a blown turbo at 56k miles. Mechanically still runs sweet as a nut but cosmetically she's WAY past her best and needs a full respray so was SORN'd last month pending attention in the Spring. I've enjoyed every mile of the last 7 years (now on 118,500) and regard her as easily the best car I've ever owned, or probably ever will do

Doesn't seems as though much has changed , there are loads of reasonable looking coupes on ebay for around £1K this week. I know they'll need money spending but a look back through this thread suggests any money spent will not be recovered. Moral seems to be run one for fun not profit.

I remember once saying I'd never sell up. I know, but I have no need to sell it ands it does get started up every 6 weeks or so when we go over - just can't drive it anywhere until I fix the gear selector problem (cracked nylon housing!) Currently it's replacement is a long-wheelbase transit type van. Not quite the same, but better at transporting furniture!

10th anniversary this year for me and the Plus.
Had a slight wobble last year & considered moving on, however I struggled to find something else with the looks/rarity/style & pace so it's staying put now.
The fact that values now seem to be going the right way is a bonus too!
