Paddy, please provide some feeback when fitted & bedded in \:\)

not that I need a new clutch, as my ceremetallic HELIX 6 paddle is one step below the twin plate I was going for, but it was so heavy, it was alarming, but a pukka fit for the coop, so much so, that Barbz always managed to destroy box's well before the clutch ever got bedded in \:D

...a real pioneer.

I'm just interested in any other variant. Let me know if it judders, mine barely does, but will a tad if you pull away below 1k ( these clutches are meant to grip, NOT SLIP )

cheers \:\)

Fully balanced and surface sealed too.

From reading the whole thread I get the impression that this clutch could be a good deal for all fiat coupes as an alternative to Helix providing it does what it says and is durable. Helix is a proven brand but could this kit cut the mustard?

The description of its behaviour sounds exactly like my Helix 6 paddle. 1000 miles of judder then nice and smooth. laugh

I would like to know the actual MAX ft/lb rating for this 6 paddle kit.

And why did you get the plate without the damping springs? (as Helix has springs)

Good morning everyone,

Using the disc without the damping springs it judder less the with the damping springs.
This springs doesn't work to absorv the impact from a faster shifter, if works to slow the gearbox and the shift enter smoother and do not sacrifice much the synchronized rings from the gearbox. The probability of break the disc without the spring is less than with the springs and without the springs the shift becames more faster.

Any doubts just ask.

Best regards,
Displatec Team.

The original clutch cover from Coupe we can put just 10% more (600lbs original), if you get the ft/lb higher than 10% from the original your bearing can escape and cause an accident.

If you invert the system you can get cover plate until 1400lbs. Any question just ask.

Best Regards,
Displatec Team.

Displatec that still doesn't answer my question. I want to know the rating of your clutch in ft/lb for the 6paddle using your pressure plate without inverting to 1400lbs.

Good morning Nick,

If your clutch system is original (pull system) we can supply you a Displatec clutch because we don't have it here in Brazil, just the clutch in the push system. But i recomend you a 10% clutch cover and a 6 pads disc.

Any question just ask.

Best Regards,
Displatec Team.

Good morning TurboJ,

Yes we'he replied you, the original pull system pressure is about 500 to 520lbs. When we make we plus it 10% more (600lbs), it's all we can do, more then this your bearing can escape. Any question just ask.

Best regards,
Displatec Team.

I thought you meant that spring rating on the pressure has 600lbs of clamping force. OK so it can take up to 600ft/lb with the 6paddle and the original pull system?

Good afternoon TurboJ,

Sorry but i don't have this parts here in Brazil, just the parts for the push system.

What i can do for you is a Multdisc clutch until 3 disc that can replace this kit without any modification. I'll post a picture of it for more explanations. Any question just ask.

Best regards,
Displatec Team.

I think I speak for all when I say the real interest here is the kit you sold to paddy147. When will you be getting more in stock?

Good afternoon,

Paddy bought the clutch kit for the push system as we cab see on the pictures he posted and i posted before. Here i'm posting the pictures of our Multdisc Clutch for the pull system. We make here in Brazil for Marea (almost the same clutch of the Coupe) and Subaru.

Any questions just ask.
