I was the same - I've had a whole two weeks off work (first time I've strung together two weeks in the last 20 years!) I was going to:- replace the perished hose to the boost gauge replace the centre console replace the blown bulb in the clock sort the cabin temp sensor sort the rattly rear speaker polish and lacquer the rear light rings and give it a thorough and well-earned clean and wax and polish How many of these did I actually get done? None - not one. Its out there now, on the drive, filthy and cold. However, I'm in my office , all warm, which I certainly wouldn't have been if I'd spent the day cleaning it. Additionally, I know I'll be able to get into it in the morning - if I'd washed it, I'd almost certainly be faced with a five-minute session with the hair dryer

Often because of the mice and men themselves. Coops not been cleaned for a month- shes dirty inside and out. Got one of those microfiber mitts the other day. My plan for today was to make her shine like a polished diamond. as she was so dirty it should have been even more satisfying, cutting through the dirt. so i thoroughly hosed her with cold water. applied the shampoo all over with the mitt. then all of a sudden, i just could NOT be bothered anymore. furthermore the cold weather was really pi*#@ng me off. so i hosed her down, quickly cleaned the dirt off the alloys and left it at that. no drying off or waxing or hoovering or dusting etc. while she does look clean from the outside now, thats the problem- she just looks clean- shes not sparkling. what happened to me? and why? why whY why WHY?!? !!!!! hey there bud i don't know how old you are , but I'm an old git & my coop is filthy sitting outside with other jobs need doing. to be fair the weather has not been that GOOD TO INSPIRE EVEN THE MOST EAGRE OF US COOP OWNERS.[sorry about that] Ive lost a bit of edge due to daft injury at Xmas works doo old age & generally being pissed off at the thought of work etc etc I'm not going to say we guys can be all the same but Ive kind of lost the good feeling button lately......hope you get the feel/good back ASWELL As my self the only answer at the moment
I'm an old git & happy with it,most of the time

Lazy so-and-so's! Over the Xmas & New Year break I have: 1. Washed, dried, clayed, polished, sealed & waxed my Dad's Stilo Multiwagon. 2. Washed, dried & waxed my Plus 3 times. 3. Washed, dried and QD'd my GF's car. 4. Painted one of my sheds with 2 coats AND re-felted the roof. 5. Fitted a new door seal to my GF's Coupe. 6. Changed the CD player in my Plus. I'm ready for a rest back at work in the morning!!
She's GONE!

Wusses some of you. I spent most of the Christmas period working outside in 4 degree's or colder (as yesterday was a constant 0 degree's) on the coupe. It's all about how well you wrap yourself up. I have been wearing a comfy pair of trousers, a t-shirt, 2 jumpers, a hat, latex gloves and fingerless gloves. You start off cold for about 20 mins or so, then you warm up and it isn't a problem, although stopping for food and sitting in the other car with the heaters on full blast is
Your car is Usain Bolt with wellies
