Hmm, it would suggest that you could buy the spare/new parts from a German/Swedish/Baltic area dealer or parts supplier then...?
The light that flashes on our cars is indeed for the passenger airbag, it stays lit if you turn the airbag off (keyswitch in glovebox) which you should do if carrying a baby seat in the front, for example. I think the heated seat light is next to it, on the left looking at the panel.

It is possible that the light may be present on the UK Coupes.
However whether the wiring is also is another matter. Considering the LE was made primarily for the UK market, it does not have heated seats, do the European LE's?

without having had a look, its fairly likely the wiring may be there.
Used to work on the last generation toyota celica and all models had exactly the same loom, from base to t-sport / gt (t sport with a kit)
Having said that, for RHD they probably had to make another loom, so mybe not. Which side of the road do malaysians drive on? anyone know if their cars had heated seats? (and if any of the japanese ones did?)
Maybe someone like countrycruisng could comment on if there is a spare set of connections, or wire(s) under the seats?

My pearly white has heated jizz bags. Although they are good, they are wired the same as Alfa's which is most annoying as they are on-off all the sodding time.
Its an import obviously being a 2002. Ive never seen any coupe with the wiring in place. Most late plus's have the slot in the fuseboard but they aren't just on a harness.
Not worth the effort.
