snatchy throttle made gearchanges difficult to get right. LOTS of driveline backlash made slow progress very jerky

cramped footwell made it difficult to press the clutch without finding either the brake or the footrest as well

Don't get me wrong, its still a staggering car - just needs a bit of modification to get it right

Somewhere else on the old forum I wrote that it would be a terrible car for £68,000, but would be a bargain at £30,000. Now they're down to <£15k, they are almost as much of a performance bargain as the Coupe.

Mine's an Assetto Corsa in red with a manual box love

Thanks Nigel, very informative.

I've started thinking about possible replacements for the Coupe (not quite yet though, I'm more than happy with my car atm smile ) and this is definitely an option.

Congrats to Stuart btw, a lovely car indeed love

AFAIK these issues were addressed on the 2001 cars so the later ones should be better in this respect smile
