I thought I may aswell do something useful tomorrow and have been out to buy all the necessary for a fuel cap refurb.

Once home I've looked at the autosol I have just bought and it states in the instructions
'not recommended for use on mirror finish surfaces eg mirror finish alloy wheels(unlacquered), chrome motorcycle trim, chrome finished plastic - for these use Autosol Super Fine.' crazy

The stuff I have is 'Original' there was no other on the shelf at halfrauds. incidently they have a buy 3 for the price of 2 on all cleaning products.

have I bought the right stuff or have I goofed

worked a treat, Im very impressed with the results, just like new in about 1 - 2 hours. laugh .
Next job is my wheels. Im toying with the idea of doing them myself however I have no spares only the space saver.
