i always see an old volkswagen, looks realy cool but never have my phone to take a pic.

Last summer there was a DB9, Gallardo and Karman Ghia all parked up in the pub near me

It was very amusing that the Karman Ghia got the most attention (totally mint and polished so you could see your stubble in it!)

I used to work with a bloke who had a Karman Ghia, but it was the ugly second edition. He thought he was oh-so-cool, but really it was rubbish.

Just back from Perth (Western Australia), just over 5 hours on a direct flight in a 767 and didn't leave the country.

Attended an All Italian Car Show and on display were 2 Maserati Sebrings, an Issota Frachini, Lancia Stratos and Integrale etc. but no Coupes as there are none in WA.

I saw Barak Obama's Beast on Sunday afternoon.

It was in amongst a big ol'convoy of American 4x4s, unmarked Range Rovers, marked range rovers and sports range rovers, and outriders.

It was travelling non-stop up the Camden Road from Holloway. Lots of serious looking people, all bluetooth earings and stern looks. No passengers in the Beast though.

Saw a Fiat Dino Coupe on the roundabout on Hyde Park Corner the other night. Unfortunately it was a bit stranded - the inside front wheel was at fortyfive degrees to the axle. Bit of a shame.

But, on the upside, it was that lovely metallic sable colour that the Alfa Montreal used to appear in.

sable? what colour is that? that's a girl's description of a colour, please use pure scientific definitions, like green or yellow, not sable or for example "biscuit" (chocolate or oatmeal )

Like broom instead of banana - or ink instead of black. Once you learn to grasp the basics - which include the fact that lemon is not even a type of yellow - it's lemon - you will be on the right track.

Was overtaken by an Aston Martin DBS last night on the A34 at the same time as a Ferrari Daytona was coming the other way. Didn't know where to look!

I saw a Trabant on the back of a low loader yesterday evening, looked very tidy if a Trabant can ever be described as tidy!
