hey guys ,

im having alarm problems big time !, recently i have had the old car wont lock off the fob just unlocks so been round spraying locks etc which seems to have sorted it.

Then when i unlock the car with the fob get in start engine alarm goes off and will not go off unless i disconnect battery.

I have been just using the key recently only but last night at 02.30 i wake to find it going off,press fob it shuts up,this happened twice last week too.

why is it going off when im not arming it ?!

can anyone tell me what the problem is !!???

had similar problem with mine a few weeks ago.

firstly, change your batterys in your fobs if you havent already done that

closely inspect bonnet sensor, as i think this was what was wrong with mine

unlock car with key, then lock/alarm it with the fob

hopefully...

had a look round the bonnet sensor today, seemed ok.

why should you replace batterys?

Also looked in glovebox for a switch to disable alarm could not see one, also looked around inercooler area under bonnet could not see anything either !

anyone know exactly where it is under bonnet

depends on what/which alarm you have i would guess
