i've put the pininfarina badge back on, those photo's were before it was finished. its in the middle just underneath the screen.

and tidied the whole thing up to.

I saw this a few years back and thought it was a good idea. Again you lose the pininfarina logo, but I think it's well worth it.

Just an observation, but it seems that most modded german cars are fitted with a prancing horse somewhere or another ( check the steering wheel) Why, oh why!!! confused Perhaps debadge, but don't pretend! grr

That aside, I think the in-car computer option is a very worthwhile mod, leaving the possibility of rear headrest screens wide open. All good. Would be interested to know how this figures with a Barnacle widget too.

Iain.

i really like what he's done with the screen. only thing is its a 7" wide not 8" square. Still looks good though and kept his heaters lol.

Whose is this? This looks good. Where did the console housing come from?

Wouldn't it be easier to fit a double DIN unit in the radio/ashtray space? Yes it's low down, but you keep the air vents and the logo and it more like the fit than ninja showed on his link, got me thinking now... smile

Gota say, the pic posted by ninja looks superb, the ashtray/lighter area is all unused for me, and this solution looks more 'factory' & modern IMO, i'd be very very interested in knowing more about how this was done.......anyone know who's coupe it was ? cool

It's an in car PC.
Load up your fave mp3's and let rip with the latest media player!!

I really love this install, and it's really well finished too. Just a shame that a touch screen interface in that position would be difficult (if not impossible) to use safely while driving.
Hence the reason for my posting the link above as a possible alternative.

yea i get that its a in car PC.

My in car PC connects to the stereo Aux port so that I use the stereo to hear the PC through the speakers.

if there isn't a stereo, how is the sound getting from the PC to the speakers in the car.
