What a fantastic day! Beautiful drive down there through some gorgeous villages, absolutely scorching weather (I have got sunburn!) and met some lovely people (see - I'm only angry and combative from the comfort of my computer!). Nice to see such a good coupe turn-out too.

Mr L and I would even go so far as to say that it was much better than Stanford Hall Auto Italia day as it wasn't so concourse-y and a bit more intimate and informal.

Thanks to everyone who withstood Mr L's rabbiting on (Especially coupe_integrale and his dad - legends!). Thanks to Mattcoupe, BarmyBob, Mansilla and PorkyPaul for the friendly welcome and anyone we didn't get around to talking to - we're very sorry.

Oh - and we even won a T Shirt - RESULT!

Had a great day, was good to meet everyone and put faces to names. The turn out was good and we had pride of place too. To be honest I didn't realise that we were showing our coops so that was a bonus. And +1 for being sunburnt. Be good to see the photos that peeps have taken too.

Am I the only one who didn't get sunburn?

Plenty of sun cream and a silly hat, although not a silly as some , ensured that I managed to leave a Coupé meet without a PINK head and RED nose, it has to be a first!

Still a bit miffed that I turned out to be the token southerner, which is odd as I was probably the most northern person there!!

What a great day out, really good to put some names to faces - very friendly bunch, especially Mr & Mrs L. Made it worth spending most of the week under the car trying to get the bugger ready for its 1st public outing.

Sorry if I didn't say hello but after thinking we'd be too late to meet everyone at the pub (and ending up being 1st there!) I wasn't sure who was who.

Big thanks to Paul for organising, as soon as I got there the gate staff knew the fccuk were coming in force and had set a side a good spot for us all.

Im so gutted. The one show that was kind of local and it didnt chuck it down for and the coop had to have its first break down in over a year of ownership.
