oh also pinin im sure the others will tell me other wise but i ve removed my polystyrine bumper padding because that was also obstructing the bumper going on fully,i know its probably a bad idea but im not planning on crashing it

Come on Pinin

Smart ass Wonder if it's possible to trim it instead of complete removal? have to find out myself I guess.

Why did you remove it, FMIC? Do the FMIC boys all remove the foam too?

Im runnig a Pace FMIC at the mo, but couldnt be arsed trimming it, so left it off. The foam is only there for low impact bumps anyway.

Yes, for the ProAlloy anyway, Rog fitted mine and removed the foam pad

Greencoup - did you have to remove the bumper foam to fit the 360, or did you just have to trim it?

I think, that only mesh obstructs.. greencoop27 see there..

Bumper arrived today, Thanks Maurisz. Was blown away by the quality of the item and the paintwork, far better than the local sprayers that charged me £150 to spray my skirts Just got to fit it now...

Pictuuuuures please..!!

I fit up the mesh very precisely.. so you do not disassemble the foam to fit.. I hope, all will be OK..

I'm not fitting it for a while yet, I'm giving the paint a week to "breathe" and give it a good wax before fitting. But the pics will come I'm not sure on the mesh now it's here though, I'll fit it to the car and see how I feel about it two weeks later

Greencoup - Did you have to remove the intercooler and oil cooler scoops? I don't think you need them anyway with this bumper, and It didn't seem to fit with them on.
Did you drill holes into the bumper? as there appears to be mounting brackets but no holes in the bumper to fit the screws.
Thanks mate

your coupe must be in very good condition, all bright colours are more prone to fading, so you paint is in very goood shape. still good work from Mariusz.

Its probably to late now but dont wax the bumer for at least another 2weeks, if you wax it you coat it in a layer that traps the sovents etc in and doesnt let them evapourate, which means the paint wont harden fully.

If you have already then dont worry it doesnt make a massive difference.

Exactly what I'm doing paul I remember on high octane the DVD Ketzal stirling's MR2 went for a respray and the chap at the sprayers said let the paint breathe for two weeks before waxing.

I have did for Greencoup holes for halogens and gril but nobody does this (Cadamuro etc..), AutoDS too. If you have these parts removed, this will be 5 minutes of work.

looks very nice pinin as mariusz said i had the holes already drilled for me but its easy job to do this just go slow so the fibre glass does nt split,my pace fmic was fine as it was it cleared the bumper but the oil cooler & the bumper padding i chopped down to fit snug, also the sides of the bumper stuck out slightly so i drilled another 2 holes either side & zip tyed it to the arch lining looks much nicer fit,if u get stuck pm me ill be happy to help
