2010 will be the fourth annual Rally Show at Chatsworth. Over 40,000 people attended the first three shows and this is now the second biggest rally event in the UK (only Rally GB is bigger).



I know it's a bit early, but thought I'd start gauging some interest now, as I've just had the details through from the organisers and it will be the first time the Club has had a stand there

Now, there's a discount if all places are booked and paid up before 31st December 2009, but I can't see that happening with you lot so, will post up prices that will be from 1st January 2010.


Up to 20 Cars: £25.00 per adult
Up to 40 Cars: £22.00 per adult
Over 40 Cars: £20.00 per adult
Saturday only: £17.00 per adult
Sunday Only: £20.00 per adult.
Children 15 and under: Free of charge

The charges represent 1 two day ticket per person attending.

So, the more cars we get, the more discount we get

I'm working that weekend and will attend, but will have to cut my stays short unfortunately and can't ask for time off, due to already having two weekends off for car events in June and July

that could be a plan. Do they allow camping onsite?

not on site but they have a list of campsites on their website, wouldn't mind camping to be honest

ill be coming to this one, i only live about 5 miles away, its a great weekend.

Not Coupes, no. Hope to get a lot there this year and every year from now on though




This is one of the rules I have from the organisers:

3. Clubs will be allocated space appropriate to the number of cars they will be bringing, this will include a
space of up to 25m2 for a tent or marquee. Clubs are required to inform The Rally Show if you intend to
bring a tent and will have to pay a surcharge if your tent occupies a space greater than 25m2.

So, I suppose, if you bring a big tent, everyone can sleep in it

i have a few spare rooms at mine, only 5 ish minutes away from chatsworth if needed.

I think it could be a laugh camping over.

Just noticed Stamford hall is on the Sunday.

It's close to me again, I can't help but sign up for this! :-)

Just bumping this one up, as you can now check dates in your new 2010 diaries and calendars

Just noticed that this clashes with the classic car show that we usually try to attend at Tatton Park, Cheshire

They are both the same weekend

I'll give the organiser for Tatton Park a ring and see what he says

There is another show at Tatton park in August as well, but would like to attend both, as well as Chatsworth

Will sort something out hopefully

T - if it makes life easier, I'll make the arrangements for Tatton Park; that way the Club can be represented at both Shows and people have a choice as to which one (or both) to attend?

I'd normally be attending with a local Classic Car Club anyway but that won't be a problem.

Don't know if the Commitee will let me do this but I doubt the Tatton organisers will allow one day attendance due to the demand for pitches?

It's always a dilemma for Show Organisers not to clash on dates as there's a finite number of suitable weekends available.

It's annoying more than anything, as Tatton is in May more often.

The main problem is, that the majority of people who would attend Tatton, will be or want to attend Chatsworth too.

I'll have a chat with the organisers first and see what can be done and let you know Craig, thanks.
