PMSL!! Those cars aren't old enough to warrant a "restoration" as such!! laugh

To be fair, this deserves a terse response! Kind of unnecessarily belligerent don't you think? confused

By the way Patch, I'm very glad you decided to go back to black with the grille - I think it looks much better! thumb

Just wondering, how do you manage to get your parts sprayed so quickly? It's like one minute you've got something in 1 colour and then a day later its changed!

Well Insy... the process is thus;

When I spray something like a grill (or wing mirrors). I prepare the night before (including masking)

Spray primer - leave 15
Spray first coat - leave 15
Spray second coat - leave 15
Then third

Bring into house for 1 hour

Spray lacquer coat - leave 15
and repeat twice after.

Sometimes I will gently rub down the colour coat (1200 grit) before lacquering

That's it! Works for me, not an ideal method, but for smaller stuff, it works just fine.

EDIT - The wing mirrors are a spare set, allowing me to play

Next job, swap the 6 speed out for a 5 speed gearbox....

Gradually getting back to a poverty specced coupe...lol

To be fair,i have the one cloth seat in mine atm and is incredibly comfortable and supportive.

Good idea for everyday use mate, the recaros are like rocking horse and easy enough to swap back over.

Nice seats aswell
