I have a Sony headunit which I need to remove. I have taken off the removable face and then unscrewed the the platic plate thbehind that it clips on to but cannot see how to release the rest of the unit.

Also should I remove (and sell) the cage or just the inner unit - or is it all one piece?

Thanks

Al

you realy need the sony release keys. Failing that you need two slim knives slid down each side of the HU to release the catches and then push it out from behind.

Failing the above you can also remove the Centre console and then you can see the catches and release the unit.

Sell the cage with the unit. They are all different.

The final option is go to a car installer and offer him a beer

Thanks John - you didn't mention the considerable amount of blood loss required but apart from that, perfect.

Thanks

Yes There is still an armfull of my blood in Vicksters Coop from when I tried the same at the Bluewater meet

Still at least I can now do a great Dave Allen impression.
