Thanks for taking the effort Charlie to do this. Great read again and wish I'd kept the mags and both "traindriver" posters I had.
If all else fails read the instructions

I had the 16v yellow "traindriver" poster as well, think Fiat got a moan from the traindrivers union over these! Good work.
If all else fails read the instructions

Will be posting more. Ican do the owners manual in PDF if anyone wants that, or 2 brochures one from initial launch and one from launch of the plus.
Also have the TV advert in iPod/iPhone format if anyone wants it.
Just let me know

Just something I remember from the time Charlie, might have the bit in a mag somewhere but was sure that's why the later 20v adverts changed.

These are a cracking find Charlie - thanks for sharing them! Just started reading the first one and my how times have changed: I nearly spat my coffee on the screen reading the reviewer bemoan the Coupe not looking as good as it drives ?!?! and then comparing it to "Vauxhall's almost perfectly beautiful Calibra" Looking forward to enjoy the rest of this haul. Also if you still have the unstitched scans of the two halves of that train driver ad, could you post the original files? I work in digital imaging and I'd like to have a crack at meshing them into a seemless single image... might not be able to mind you but it's an iconic advert and would be fun to try.

I wonder whether the reviewer still regards the Calibra as beautiful all these years later? I wonder. Looking at it now it just looks like a Cavalier someone sat on. I'd forgotten how crushingly dull most of the competition was when the Coupe first appeared...

Sorry, didn't get a chance to scan image, I have had a cycle to work voucher sitting on my desk for 3 months and discovered it expires tomorrow so had to go and get a mountain bike sorted this morning. Good tax break though!

I wonder whether the reviewer still regards the Calibra as beautiful all these years later? I don't know how he ever classed the calibra as beautiful, even when it was launched it was such a dull, bland shape with a chav image. The fiat coupe was like an absolute breath of fresh air, still looks fantastic today
I'll be back Alor Blue Seat Leon FR 180 atm
