How do you I join interactively and pay via pay paypal.
Don't really want to print off word documents,fill them out and then send a cheque off.

Even better, just use bank transfer to get the funds directly to our club bank account as shown on the form.
Email the completed form to membership@fccuk.org as it says.

I think more people would join if it was like buying something on the net.
E.g, fill out the form click on proceed, enter card details..........done, confirmation e-mail has been sent to you, thank you.

Job done.

I would send the money and join this second if I could do it with a couple of mouse clicks and a bit of typing.......that's how most forums do it anyway.
The last forum I joined was the BTS and I payed with paypal.......easy!

you can pay by paypal for FCCUK too. We still need other details hence the need for a form.

If you think filling out a form takes time then imagine the time it takes to convert over 400 (some handwritten) onto a database. Then colate the pack and send it and lastly update the forum data. All done in my own time without cost to the club. So you can imagine how eager we are to change this

You don't need a printer.

Fill in the online application here and email it, as it says on the form, to membership@fccuk.org

Payment details are also on that form, bank transfer or by paypal to treasurer@fccuk.org will save you writing and posting a cheque.

Ive joined lately, but have heard nothing. Ive been going to do this as soon as possible, but only got round to changing my email address from my wifes name to my own.. Procrastinate is a word that seems to follow me about the older I get.

Looks like the guys were right.....just emailed the form and payed by paypal.....very easy.
Just have to wait now until my membership goes through...soon I hope

As explained on the website you do not need to print anything out simply email it. The new automated system should be live in the next few weeks. Please be patient - we are only human and do not do this for a living

Just glad in back in the membership side of things as i didnt realise that it had run out so long ago maybe a reminder email nearer the renewal date would be a good suggestion???

It says on the back of your membership card when your current term expires.

I do also send out email reminders but am sure due to the forum name they get stuck in spam filters. I would send PMs but that takes ages

I processed all forms received in the last week of march and first week of April. These were sent Wednesday evening.

Sorry but I am doing major DIY work at home so barely have enough time to process applications let alone confirm payments etc along the way. Add to this April is the busiest month for renewals

All I can say is that all forms will be processed within 28days, if you have not heard anything after this then please PM me. Not ideal I know but the club is rune solely on a free volunteer basis and sometimes other parts of life get in the way. If however anyone wants to help get involved please let us know

Normal service will be resumed in May.
