Just wondering if anyone uses or has used mtec vented and grooved discs.

Want to upgrade my standard ones can get a set of 4 in black for £130 delivered or standard colour £115 delivered.

There was a group buy on these, so micght be worth looking at the opinions.

I fitted them to rear of my VIS and front of my Focus, and have ordered some for front & rear of my 20VT6. I have found them to be good looking, good value and good performance.

You can ask them for drilled only for the LE look if that floats your boat.

Just emailing this guy about them getting the price down got him to £105 at the min.

Got the money for the clutch, just think during/after it's been mapped would be nice to stop it made the mistake with my old evo of not upgrading the brakes. What brakes you got then john?

I'm using the mtec discs and they've been great performance wise but the centers have gone rusty very quickly, nothing a quick rub down and hammerite wouldn't solve, but i am very lazy.

Have the grooved disks with Ate pads, painted them with VHT-like black matt paint, as the coating option wasn´t available, and they are absolutely fabulous, no issues at all with "screaming" and etc. (Well, thats other theme to post soon, have found interesting material for making shims).
