Last week one of these arrived:-
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xkdwXkipeIc

I'm a sucker for railways stuff and this fills both that and inability to resist a gadget.

It is linked to my wi-fi and through web application can be set to any of the 2563 stations on mainland UK. Colours, scroll speed can also be customised along with loads of other stuff.

It takes its feed from the Real Train times or Network rail API so is as up to date as the station.

Bus and Tube APIs are in development.

It's a lovely bit of kit and a present to myself for finally paying th last of 25yrs of mortgage debits.

Bonkers but we love it

Nice.

I've got one linked to my local Doctors surgery.

At the moment it says "Robin Thringpiece to Dr Chalfonts Rm 3"

wink

It would be more fun if you could program in your own information and then upload it...

That's coming too. Mainly for model railway enthusiasts but I can see a lot more uses evil

These would an essential purchase for any pub close to a station. Especially on Southern Railway, think of the extra pints sold as customers can see their train delays.

Isn't that like every miserable day of your commute welcomed into the bosom of your home. Gives me a shudder.

I spend most of my working days trying to get away from those things. Lol

If you ever board a South West Trains Mainline service, you never know...it might be being driven by a Coupe Owner! laugh
