Was just wondering if there is a specific age requirement for classic insurance as i was going to take up a new policy on my coupe for £1566 20 years old complete clean history and own another car. only problem is the coupe is not my daily and using no claims to insure the coupe means i pay a killing to insure my daily

Have you spoken to Sarah at Neil Willies on here? You should get a good deal as the Coupe is a second car and as far as I can make out, no claims aren't used on Classic insurance anyway. Will be worth a chat with them

Dependant on the actual insurer I can look at cover for drivers under 25, subject to the coupe being the second car, very limited mileage, pleasure use only and a clean driving record. Basically you have to be a perfect candidate for the insurers to consider. However, drivers aged under 21 are usually not acceptable, especially on turbo models.
Give me a call if you want to have a chat about it.
Thanks Sarah

Hi there, I was wondering if I could get a quote for my new Fiat Coupe. I bought last week. Joined the CCFUK straight up. I'm over forty, hold a full UK license 2 years driving license, no claim. The car would be used to commute at work (one Place) and a bit of social as well.also, one other car at home, not on my name. car is valued at £1076, 85000 on the clock. Could you kindly get me a quote whenever you can please. Thanks
Regards

I've just insured my 20V as a "classic" with Footman James. 15 years old or more and driver over 25 were the conditions and the premium was £340 fully comp.
I don't think I've ever seen a classic policy available for under 25's though sorry. It's the magic number in insurance terms!
