And arriving at Brooklands about fifteen minutes later...

So what time do we need to be at juntion 8??

Well, I'm making this up as I go along... but I live at the start of this blue line and while my street's a bit crowded there's a convenient Sainsbury's visible just to the east of me: googlemaps

Perhaps we should aim to meet there at say, nine-fifteen to leave by half-past? Chance to fill up with coke and beer and barbeque goodies, too... Sedici?

OK, I've lined up my Dad to clean my car on Friday. I'll have to tape my daughters hands to her car seat to stop her drawing on the windows with sticky fingers, but I'll make up a picnic and am looking forward to a nice afternoon. I don't think I'll make it onto the Club stand as I won't be able to get there until late morning.

Sedici, we aren't on the grass area I referred to at the start of the thread, as the grassed area if being given to the Masers (see Bob's post on page 4 and the link to the map posted just above it) We've been moved to an area further up near the banking.

There's probably room for 20-odd cars there, so I'd say that given that doors open @ 8.30, if you are getting there later than 10-10.30 you *might* not get on the stand. It obviously depends on when/how many people turn up though,so its difficult to say.

We have this year been positioned on a grassed area near the Aircraft display. We should have a bit more space than last year

Hi all - went to this event about 3 years ago, great day out had by all! Shall be bringing a few items for sale if anyone interested :

Set of "plus" clocks (white faced dials, and the time clock)

1 "plus" alloy wheel

1 G-tech 0-60 Timing thingy myjig

Also, after 7 years of ownership, the coupe will sadly have a "for sale" sign in the window : (
