i have had it more than 18 months now & spent loads keeping it running sweet ...
new brakes / bushes / belts done / manifold replaced / thermostat & now getting a new clutch fitted....

the thing is it has full f/s/history & bills & i keep finding receipts for chip/ss exhaust/leather interior / boost controler ...allsorts but half the things are not in/on the car..

any old owners shed some light ....
was told previous keeper kept allot of the bits for his new coupe or to sell.........

Christ HD you didn't buy that one did you? There is a history a mile long with it. loads of threads somewhere on here. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

anyone point me to the threads its had in the past?

i swaped it for a 16v corrado with no t&t or s/h (H406DDS). this came with full s/history stamps,old mot's,receipts + 6month mot & tax so expected somthing wrong....i found out it was in a police chase after a few days the police stoped me ...must be why i got it so cheap.:-)
it looked to of had a new tan leather interior or a realy good valet when i picked it up, the paint work was poor but it drove spot on..


so far appart from regular services:
i changed the belts,2 bushes & a ball joint in the 2nd month. the brakes,2 tyres & the tracking befor mot after 6 months, new battery & the manifold bolts re-treading after 10months & now clutch is slipping after 18 months. the thermostat has just been changed as it was stuck open...

I think pilgrim was joking?

either way anyone else had it? its stamped at the same dealers it was bought from up untill 2008 then all receipts from then to now.
think its come from wakey/ponti sides befor hudds & was origionaly from near york...

would help explain some of the paper work including performance parts & bhp printouts ....

got receipt for a k&n ,exhaust & chip , boost controler ...
not on the car now....?
