No idea about two of them. Teckniclutch == avaoid but... Valeo == standard Helix organic == modified
standard clutch is probably less than £150 from Steve at alternative autos call on 01484865086

im running standard bhp minor mods but will eventualy take it up to flee for a map as recomended... so far i have had a quote for £150 labor which i dont mind as its off the same mechanic its allways been to... i think the standard clutch might be more than enough but i will see if my budget streches.

If your not planning on bigger turbo's fmic, blah, blah then going any higher than the standard would be a waste of money, unless your thinking hitting santa pod quite a lot!

i dont know if i will change bigger turbo,fmic... but you never know & i do have a heavy foot so for the sake of the extra £50/60 it might be worth buying helix...

Yeah, heavy foot equals a big difference. I know of 300 bhp coops with no probs on standard clutches, and standard coops that go through them quickly. The driving style makes a hugh difference. I also have a techniclutch sat it garage as my mechanic refused to fit it as he would not guarantee his work. Fitted a Luks cltuch and it was fine...
Organic clutch is best compromise, don't go paddle as everyday driving will become a chore in traffic...

Aren't the Helix about £500 plus fitting? I Def would've got one if we were only talking an extra £50 / £60!
