I have done a search and this info cant be found as the answer is often removed and sent by a PM....

my alarm is the one with the siren behind the passenger fog light / infront of the wheel , the fobs are origional fiat with 2 buttons & a sliding switch on the side (3pins on other side)

the problem is the car wont start & i thought if i disconnect the alarm would it make a differance?

the alarm seems to work ok since i changed the fob battery but its on silent......

anyone got any pics of how to , please pm me the details...

Edited to remove temptation from potential thieves

would this alarm be stopping the car from starting or is it nothing to do with it?....

The factory fitted alarm is independent of the immobiliser and will not stop the car from starting.

We must all do our part for the planet.
I unplugged a row of electric cars that nobody was using.
I even unplugged my own.

I disconnect the alarm but unfortunately the indicators still flash when the doors are opened or car started. If anyone knows what else to disconnect please, please PM me.

Can't help at all, but for info this is the Scorpion alarm which I'm 99% sure was dealer retro fitted to UK coupes.

Could someone PM this to me too please?

I have the feeling there is a fault on it (has made funny noises in the past) and i believe its draining the battery.

Process of elimination, starting with disconnecting the alarm!

Thanks, Mark
