ive bought a bailey dv26 dump valve for my 16vt and its not very loud. Does any one have any pics to make sure ive installed it in the right place or are they just not very loud in general!?

they are very loud too loud in my opinion but i had mine on a 20vt

have i fitted mine in the right place??? i know urs was a 20v but do you know where a 16 valves should be fitted?

mine exits off the plastic pipe off the throttle body towards the front

than i must have mine in the wrong place, do you know any1 with a 16v turbo that you could find out from?

negative someone will be along very soon to tell you where it goes on a 16vt

is there only one of those bosch dump valves on the car? if there isnt ive replaced the wrong one but the diagram was uncler

there is only one as far as I am aware and it has to stay electrically connected

your valve should be on the one going to the intercooler,and the one going to air filter should be blanked

16vt is the same set up as above

thats what i thought, ill have to get back to the drawing board, if you talk to any 16vt owners could you ask them for me please. thanks

ive done that, do they get louder or is it just gonna stay quiet?

if the above has been done.have a look at the valve and check if it is open or closed when engine is running,

the vacum hose is connected aswel yes?

also is the dump valve second hand?

Mine was very quiet when I first connected it, but that was because it was horribly the wrong way round

If it looks like the below - it's wrong! Sorry, don't have any pics of it correctly installed.

thats how mine looks.....where is it supposed to be, thats where the instructions told me to put it......any1 got a pic of a correctly installed 1 and will it damage the car where its is now?

i think you need to bung that hole up and attatch it too a pipe going into your inlet manifold

sorry to dribble on but do you have any pics? im fairly mechanicly minded but this has me stumped lol

as i said before,goes on the pipe going to intercooler !!

then bailey have gicen me the wrong fitting kit lol
