Just went to the local with Mrs. and kid for a meal ( and a few beers for me) and on the way back, she drove Anyway, thought I would sit in the back and see what it is like to be a rear passenger. Have to say,the coupe for a rear passenger is excellent and a very good view of the road, much better in fact than the driver postion.......got to love these cars. Leg room might be a bit tight but hey, what do you expect from a 155 mph car that will seat 4 adults and look like a coupe ? Paul

I sat in the back of mine for the first time last week to condition the leather seats. Was slightly surprised to find a third seatbelt in mine which I hadn't noticed before! Then had a minor panic as I started to consider whether it might affect my insurance.

funny you should say that! i was cleaning my seats and also found a third seatbelt!!
Im going to take the rear seats out when i have the time and either remove it or assess if its aftermarket... i believe they were not available on UK cars as they are only listed as 4 seaters.

Compared to sitting in the back of my Mum's Cougar, the Coupé's rear seat is positively luxurious. I had to spend the entire run with my head bent over to the side and bumping against the headlining, and I'm not even particularly tall!

4 of us commuted in coupes for around a year, was tight but fine, 50 miles each way. Helped that one of those people was a 5ft 2" slim girl, but the rest of us are 6 footers and not exactly of small build.
