The sunday meet will be Lunch at the Agricultural hotel in Penrith at 12 then a drive up Heartside to Alston.

The meet went well with a stop for lunch at the sportsman,then and a drive down windermere back over Kirkstone pass to Carlisle and mezzaluns for a cracking steak!
Low numbers this year but six coupes were enough to guide through Carlisle city centre
some great sounding 20vt`s,Hev`s na nearly had Johnnymar on the M6 slip road

My apologies again for not being able to make this. Will hopefully make the next one.

Thanks for organising another great day out Dave . Although I think I would have enjoyed the run more if I'd bothered to go to the toilet at the Sportsman before heading off . Other than a rude bar owner who obviously was rich enough to turn away 10 guests for meals and bit of clutch slippage after traversing Kirkstone pass (I'm glad we were going downhill!) the meet went great with no problems.

And to top it all off,our dinner at Rob's La Mezzaluna ,which is got to be one of the best bits of Cumbrian Coupé meets.

Once again it's great to catch up with good friends,easily one of the best parts of Coupé ownership . Looking forward to the next one.

Sorry i couldn't make yesterday's run but it was great to catch up with you all again at the restaurant last night.

Guess who forgot all about this?

I cannot believe I spent this weekend watching the F1 GP and supervising Mrs Stan building a new driveway, and completely forgot this meet was on!

I'm blaming Mrs Stan, and as a fine she can take me out to Rob's for a meal, her treat! Oh, and she can sit outside in her car watch through the windows while I stuff my face!

Make sure the next meet isn't on a F1 GP weekend and I'll be there, promise, promise, promise!

You and Theresa were missed Cowboy. I know people have real lives that they have to fit the rest around and we were talking about getting dates announced a bit earlier so people can plan their meets etc.

Cowboy, Theresa, Kelv/Siti, Sparkyman, Steamer etc, you were all missed but hopefully the gang will all get together again next time.

Jack, yeah, it was good to hear Darth screaming at me out of the glove box again and Sofia had an absolute ball Thanks again for helping out with the ICE wiring, you can finish it next time you're up

really wanted to come up hartside with u guys but there was no chance of getting a sly couple of hours off today like yesterday lol to go next year we should try and make it the biggest lakes meet ever. scal_LE

Really missed you lot this weekend and was thinking about you all up there enjoying yourselves.

The year doesn't seem the same without a Lakes meet to start everything off.
