As the title,

1) 330bhp-350bhp (GT28R/RS/Latest hybrid + necessary mods)

2) 350bhp-400bhp (GT28RS/71/30xx etc + necessary mods + internals)

3) 400bhp+ (broad I know, but maybe owners can give an estimate of their cars worth?)

So what would you pay (ball park) for the above if a Coupe had the respective specs. If you have a Coupe with one of the above specs what would you estimate is it's selling price?

Cheers
Jules.

1 3500+ depending on what mods ,cam belt, general cond and miles
2 5k again same as above it is all a little subjective as one with a set of wossners is a little different from one with say accralites and farndon rods and a stage 2 head etc
3 would be as above
this is just a very broad guesstimate based on me knowing nowt.. but im not shy and don't mind sticking my neck out for others to no doubt have a chop at .
as a matter of interest why are you asking?

Watching Coupe sales it seems many Coupe buyers want standard/orignal cars as opposed to modified ones. Not everyone wants the same thing with modded cars.....
That said as soon as you start switching Turbos you must surely be adding value to the car such is the cost.
I bought mine original and am slowly slight modifying to suit budget and taste...

It's been around 7 years since I last owned a Coupe and just keep getting tempted back in. I am yet again in between cars and still wouldn't discount a Coupe........however, it would need to have around 350bhp to keep me interested.

Therefore I have two options;

1) Buy a standard example and mod it (looking at circa £2.5k to get it to 350bhp ish)
2) Buy one with the mods already done.

The prices still seem to be erratic so I'll keep my eyes peeled for both standard and modified examples.

Jules

Not that mine is up for sale, but I have 2000 reg, Plus model, 380bhp, RSR, 3,000 miles ago it had all new belts, forged accralite pistons, cunningham rods, new dba discs and pagid pads, billies and eibachs. Literally, no expense spared.

Havent a clue what its worth, so this should be an interesting thread for me.
Maybe this time next year I MIGHT sell, need to get some use out of it first...

Wasn't Eldinho, in his moment of weakness and panic, looking at around £7k for his?

Seemed a lot of car for such a small amount of money

I still do have these moments, not because I don't want the car but because I fancy a change. Having 2 performance cars just isn't going to happen.

I would say for a non plus/LE

1) £3000
2) £5000
3) £5500

Option 3 is only higher because generally the cars over 400bhp have extras such as headwork/cams.

It is a bit of a vague question though because suspension/brakes/condition haven't been considered.

Hi Eldinho,

Fair comments, and yes it is a bit vague agreed, but it's why I said ball park figures, just want to gauge opinion.

I am not too fussed at all as too whether it's a Plus / LE / Std Coupe, I understand why some would pay more for an LE but for me I prefer the understated look so would not pay a premium (although have always been partial to Chrono Grey).

In between cars again and quite fancy the idea of modding a stdish Coupe to 350ish, that's unless a tempting already modded Coupe doesn't present itself for sale firstly.

Jules.

For what it's worth i have an LE with the following modifications.

The bodywork of my car is pretty poor, although straight.

I would put it up for sale for 4.5k
