Popped in to Euroeast on Friday to get an idea of what I'd need to tidy my Coop up and ended up coming away having booked a full respray and LE kit...

...So I'll have a perfect shiny coop just in time for Summer - can't wait! :-)

I have one question...how long does stonechip paranoia last, am I actually going to be able to drive it anywhere?!

as for the paranoia it comes on in spade-loads for ages!! 2 days after i picked my freshly sprayed car up i had to leave it at liverpool airport for 2 weeks - it almost ruined my holiday thinking about what those scallies might do to it

all was well though, but on my first day back at work some tw@t dented the passenger door

now, some 8 months later, there are some minor scratches and marks, and i'm just about getting used to leaving it unattended again......

Mine's literally just gone in to my good friend's bodyshop today to have a nie-on full repaint. It's getting done VERY cheaply and don't worry it's staying it's original colour but won't look like every other Blitz blue about

Yep, I'm leaving it Porto. I like Inkys and I like Electric blue but that's more cost and hassle, they'd have to do the interior strips, inside the engine bay and so on. Plus it's nice to keep it original, so porto it is!

It's looking at being around the £2k mark all in...and no I don't have a chunk of cash hanging around, it's credit all the way ;-)

I don't like the sound of that Proccy, inconsiderate muppets..I'm pretty lucky we have a big car park at work so I can park all on my own.

Has anyone tried stoneguard after a respray, I think it is a clear plastic adhesive used on Lotus etc to prevent stonechip parnoia?

VW and Audi use them... work well if they are put in the right areas... there seems to be various strengths to. The early passat one is alot thinker than the audi ones for example

think mines new for a respray, any good sprayers around heathrow who can do mine on a budget?!
