I've searched and can't seem to find a solid answer on this.

I pulled my rear speakers out and was sure they were 5.25", but when searching a lot of people think they are the same size as the fronts, 6.5".

Has anyone had these out recently and can confirm the size.

The standard rear speakers were attached to the flexible "door" card and as a result the sound was terrible. I took mine out and they went straight into the bin. I replaced them with 6x9s but 16 or 17cms would also fit quite well.

I've already replaced mine with 6x9's. However I ask as I have some 5.25 inch speakers I wish to sell and I was under the impression the originals fitted to the door card in the rear were 5.25 inch, not 6.5 inch as I've read on a few threads.

Can you confirm?

iv replaced speakers in coupes many times and there 6.5" for sure in 20vt, for 16v/16vt i dont know as they have different door cards

What are better for sound, is it 6x9 or larger round speakers?
I've put in the kappa's and may look to swap them out in the summer so please suggest some alternatives around the £200 price bracket?

No just for the back seats AG

You won't need to spend anything like that for rears
