Nigel Forum veteran Joined: Dec 2005 Posts: 17,374 Staffordshire	yes, definitely clean out as much of the baked-on brake dust as possible, especially around the stainless pad guides - a stiff toothbrush is usually sufficient (although probably not wise to put it back in the bathroom afterwards) Also - make sure the rubber dust seals are intact for each piston - the pistons will seize very quickly if water gets in there
