As per the the GB thread, had mine fitted at VT today but thought I'd keep comments etc. to this thread.
First of all great service, they quoted £50 fitting and I was there for most of the day but no quibbles, £50 fitting is what was charged. Cups of coffee during the day always welcome too

Observations during the day. These new parts look the dogs danglies. It really did seem a shame to bolt them to the car and get them dirty, they really are great items. Enough of the product porn...
The mounts that came off my car were doubtless the originals. Rear garbox was bent, I see now what the 'bent plate' description means.
Drivers side mount was absolutely shot. Rubber had split, and the rubber section itself had come away from the surrounding metal mount. It couldn't have been much worse. I had had banging on hard acceleration and it seems this was the culprit. Had a peruse of Nobby's fitting guide while there and it seems a loosening in any way of this mount causes impact on the driveshaft, so not good.
Passenger side item, the head snapped off the main bolt throught the mount during removal, that bad boy did not want to come out at all, but John drilled this out so no sweats. Not in bad nick neccesarily, but still in need of replacement.
The one thing I would take from the removal is that owners who have chosen not to go for this GB should still consider changing the mounts, Coupes are building in age and I imagine many will be like this now. My drivers side mount was not far from evaporating into thin air.
So new ones on. Increase in vibration on my car is negligible. Steering wheel, body, can't decide if I can tell a difference, slight buzz through pedals, though very slight. Nothing annoying.
Not possible to test under hard acceleration because my car refuses to creep above 0.6 bar at the moment

so no way of telling if the banging has gone, but I know it will have. I think the car feels better and gearchanges feel that bit more precise, possibly the placebo effect we all know and love. Engine mounts aren't the most exciting mod in the world, but I'm glad to have the peace of mind knowing that when boost does go back up, everything will be held nicely in place. I've also had the poly-bushed top stabilizer bar mod so that's the engine mounting all done now
