As I've got to lay my Coupe up for a couple of months can anyone recommend a good fitted car cover, I park my coupe under some trees and I'm getting a bit fed up with every nook and cranny being filled with leaves, twigs, moss, bird sh*t etc Many thanks.

If it's really only a couple of months, maybe even the argos covers would be fine? They're cheaper after all. That said, a long period of time and the sun and elements will rot the cover.

DONT buy an Argos Cover. Some of our best customers are those who have had bad experiences in the past normally with a cheap cover...

I read that you should go for a cover is microfibre inside as the cheap plastic ones will scratch the paint work everytime you take them off... is this true or a little too much paranoia?

Some of the worst covers we have experienced have been from a major uk motor dealer. Apparently they have a sticker on them saying "Do Not Use With A Soft Top" because... when it rains the cover basically is only water resistant and as the water seeps through the cover it brings the waterproofing agent with it, soaks into the soft top and stains it permenantly... their solution? put towels on the car first, yeah right, towel gets wet, then holds moisture againsts the car, nightmare.

The best are a non woven brushed. If its towel like it holds moisture and the dirt and dust clings to the fibres so over a period of time becomes a dirt magnet.
For everyday / frequent use you need a lightweight cover as you arent going to be able to clean and polish your car every time you go out it in or come back from work.
Longer Term outdoor storage you need a heavier duty one but as the cover is going to be on the car for longer periods, its important to make sure the car is clean first.
The other issue is the fit. If its Small, Medium or Large then it isnt going to fit a coupe well.
We have also noticed some sites where it ask you specific details about your car, does a search then comes up with "medium", lots of chancers out there who wont want to know you as soon as you call and tell them the cover doesnt fit.

Takes a day or so for the creases to fall out, ideally needs a good soaking. Sure it won't take too long to get one of those My old cover is rather old and has started to leak. This has resulted in water ingress into the car this winter, from the boot area I think I am going to stick one of those dehumidifiers in the car this winter

If these people are the same as cover zone (and they sell the same products on a very similar website) then I bought one of their most expensive cover - the Stormforce.
Did not fit, hard stuff on the inside, "lost" when returned, denied it had been signed for. Practically had to threaten legal action to get my money back - at which point the cover was "found".
Hope others have more luck, I certainly did not.

When I receive the cover I will do a complete fitting test with pictures etc. I know that there are a good number of folks on here who want a good fitting cover for their Coupé, hopefully this one will fit the bill

We are NOT Cover Zone Not sure what issues you had with "Cover Zone", If you sent it back for whatever reason and it was "signed for" then why would anyone claim or be able to claim it hadnt arrived? Red Slip signed for by the post office is a non trackable service until it arrives and is signed for. Also outdoor covers have to be non woven, too fluffy on the inside and they become a dirt magnet and hold moisture against the car. As for the fit, other members and coupe owners I have spoke to have a different opinion but thanks for the feedback Greg

Just fitted the cover to the car, should have done it earlier when there was more light Initial thoughts are the similar to those of Mansilla when he bought the same cover from cover-Zone. The quality is good, it is really light, the mirror pockets are a little out of line (Too rearward) and mine could do with being a little longer at the rear. It only just covers the lower rear end. I shall do a full review with pictures ASAP. Bob I have bought one of the Stormforce covers from this group buy, and thought I'd stick a review up. I know there have been problems with these in the past, but this didn't put me off too much as the location I'll be using this is very sheltered - my house on one side, neighbours on the other, and garage at the end, so well protected from three sides. The car is looking good (Gratuitous Coupe Shots 1 and 2) and I want to keep it that way. When in 'real' use it would be further up my drive. Cover Zone sent me some samples of fabric, which arrived next day, before I ordered. I bought the Stormforce rather than Voyager as I think the fabric is much better. Voyager is a kind of plastic coated cotton, which I thought was a bit stretchy. The Stormforce feels tougher, but its probably not quite as waterproof, so maybe Voyager would be better in a very exposed location. The first thing I would say is that this is a quality product. A strong case which is plenty big enough to get it back into, straps made of a suitably soft webbing, and little silicon covers for the clips , which are the only hard part that I think might be capable of producing a scratch (unless you get grit in, of course). The seams are triple welded and look like they will last. Fitting is pretty easy, and Mrs. Mansilla was surprised how light the cover is. Photos of it fitted, with the straps on, from the front, back and side. The pockets for the mirrors are a little bit big, which is probably no bad thing, but would also benefit from being moved towards the front of the car by about 6 inches. The fitting at the back and front are both pretty good, but would be a bit better if the mirrors were moved. These are not big things though - overall I'm pretty impressed. Quality: 10/10 Fitting 8/10 I'll post again if I spot any problems.

As I'm still in the process of rebuilding my Coupe I finally took the plunge and ordered my car cover from Cover Your Car to try and hold back a bit of the weather. It took a while to arrive but I've just tried it on and it fits like a glove so should keep it nice and cosy Thanks to Greg at Cover Your Car, I did have a bit of a moan about the long delivery time, but all's well in the end.

All - just reviving this - can anyone who bought from Cover Your Car comment on their covers? Looking at one of their outdoor ones for one of my fleet.... The Advan-Tex cover I bought is fantastic, fit and finish are both great and the performance is superb. When it rains the water does get through but it also evaporates back out very quickly which obviously means it must be breathing properly, the inside of the car stays nice and dry and never gets musty. The lining is also very good, hard wearing but soft enough not to scratch. So you can probably gather that I like it a lot

<snip> Yet you use a photo of my old coupe in a Cover Zone cover to illustrate your product? (Which, incidentally, you didn't bother to ask about) Why would you do that if you are so adamant you are not them? link Just curious.

Very good value and well made, only thing they could do to improve it would be to move the pockets for the mirrors forward by 2-3 inches! Oh and he will normally sort out a discount! (codes have been listed elsewhere on here)

I bought a car cover off ebay for about £40 which said fitted to fiat coupe. When I got it it came in a generic packaing and I thought O no I bet this will be a load of crap.
..... well..... I was proved wrong! Its a fantastic fit, and I currently have no boot lid on my car and theres not the slighest hint of water in the boot at all, the things in the boot are't even damp! I am well impressed for sucha cheap car cover.
Its super soft inside and very waterproof on the outside.
If you like i'll get a link to the one I bought so you can see which one it was.
I honestly can't recoomned it enough for the price tag adn on fleabay at that!

BTW there were allegations that this company was also COVERZONE . However one is based on Merseyside and one in Ilford Essex. I also believe Theresa knows Greg and can vouch for him? That's certainly something I perpetuated - based mostly on the use of a photo of my car in a coverzone cover on the coveryourcar website. Its the one with the orangey fence to the side. I stand by my original review of the product, as it seems to be the same one sold by someone else. I have bought one of the Stormforce covers from this group buy, and thought I'd stick a review up.
Quality: 10/10 Fitting 8/10 Greg - You promised to remove the photos of my car in April. There was no need, I was more pissed off that you - or whoever supplied you with the photos - had not asked. I see you have extended that courtesy to Mick.

Can I just say that I did ask Greg (Cover-Your car) about the connection to Coverzone and it would seem that there is no connection other then they both sell exactly the same product. no doubt made by a third party. There is no connection other than that. The quality of the cover is great and I have found Greg to be a top bloke, I have sent him a few photos which I believe he has used and I am happy that he is a good bloke to do business with. Would I recommend doing business with him? Yes I would. Hell we even ended up as FaceBook friends after I bought the cover. And the cover is definitely sound investment.

So £29.00 off eBay or put a zero on the end and £290 from the other supplier on this thread.
Is there really that much difference between the two covers? Big difference between the two Jimbo, the flebay one is excellent for keeping the car completely dry but being made of PVC it won't allow the car to breathe, this is fine if you're using it on an every day car because any moisture trapped under the cover won't stay there very long. The cover I have does let a little moisture through but also allows it to get out again, I've put my cover on after getting back from a very wet journey and gone back to a completely dry car a few days later and as my car doesn't get used for weeks at a time it needs to be ventilated. Horses for courses I suppose

Is there really that much difference between the two covers? I went for the breathable Voyager and it cost around £75 delivered. I am more than happy with it. It's breathable and no condensation when I remove it, it's easy and light enough to use almost every night and has two securing straps. (And Greg asked me if it was OK to use my photos and I said yes, that's blueberry hiding under the Voyager)

Decent fit even without the Mirror Pockets. This is not to be confused with one of ours "Stormforce" though. This cover in the photo clearly has "vents" around the roof line which means the fabric needs help to breathe. If its Polyurathane I would have reservations about using it outdoors in a hot climate.
