Hi All,

only having the 20vt for a month or so I've truly got to say its one of the best cars Ive ever had.

Its strange as its not as powerful as my old e46 M3, not as comfortable as the focus (trying to sell that btw! and I feel that she needs to be handles with care but every time I get into the car I've got this constant big grin. I Have to admit they are sexy cars!

It's also like being part of a secret society! lol you'd never get focus or m3 drivers beeping each other and waving when you cross paths.

I think this car has reginited the passion I had once for cars... not since I was 17 and with my pug 205 gti 1.9 have I even been bothered to spend time under the bonnet or pay any interest in cleaning them.

I havent even had her long and already
changed discs, pads, braided hoses, cone filter, DV, Strut, serviced, put the original rims on and dropped her off last week for a white paint job. with a list of future parts and things to do to her!

I'm paying way more attention to detail than I ever did with any of the cars I've had previously.

Just thought I'd share this with you fellow coop lovers!

Also, the forum has been such a great help and the members on here are brill.

Cheers
Alex

Also need to add my missus thinks I'm a complete loon, even though she tries to take her out all the time, she can stick to her focus, also gets me out the house when she has her nag on! lol

Another White coupe in London!! laugh welcome to the most exclusive club on this forum the "White coupe club" get those pics up mate!

It all starts with a flea map then a load of thousands later and you find youself going for than magical 400bhp!!

Glad you like the car, it's a real achievment for the coupe to be loved more that the newer e46 m3.

great post alex, hope you have many thousands of trouble free miles with her, unlike mine rolleyes

my advice would be, after the flea map, concentrate on the braking and suspension, you don't need more speed especially in london....

enjoy the beauty of the coupé cool

Good to hear Alex and yes you're right we all do share the odd nod and wave when spotting another around!

I must say though if you go on the power journey you'll always want more and more things "will" break! It's the nature of the beast.

Get to a figure you're happy with or leave it stock imo.

Enjoy smile
