I'm after some HID's and after having gone through the various HID threads, I'm still undecided. I want minimal warming up time and ones that don't switch off when you flash someone! Also they have to be a significant improvement on the standard yellow candles I have at the moment.

I don't mind paying top dollar for them either (I'm guessing £150 should be adequate) so if anyone knows of any HIGH quality, long lasting durable kits then please provide a link/more info.

I had this kit: Slim H1 6000K HID 35w Kit and can recomend it. Almost 7 months of using it and never had problems with it. Price is GBP 70.

Im using a cheap kit of the bay on my coop for a month or so and cost me 34 quid all in and are excellent and been using the same kit on the wifes coop for 4 years now been through every MOT no problems really bright but set at the right height get no flashes from oncomers!!

The wifes are 8000k lumens and mine are 6000k lumens hers are quite blue and i wanted the more oem look on my coop so went for the 6k and are probly brighter than hers again no flashes from oncomers!!

They may pass the MOT, but the tester is just checking beam alignment. Does not mean they are or make them legal.
