I'm looking into the feasability of a cheap upgrade for my rear brakes, but i'm out of the country for a good while yet so i need a little help from the forum as i dont have access to a coup. What i need is a few measurements.

1/ The distance between the rear caliper carrier fixing bolts (center to center).
2/ The thickness of the metal plate on the axel that the caliper carrier bolts to.
3/ The width of the cut out for the disc in the caliper carrier. (exactly i think its about 13mm but need confirmation)

I appreciate this is a big ask as some one will have to get their measuring stick out, but if anyone is doing their brakes or has a wheel off i'd be very grateful.

Just type "+rear +brake +upgrade" in the advnaced seach and change all the date boxes to be clear. Simples. A host of information there.

Tis true the search facility is amazing, its one of the reasons my post count is so low! I think 60 odd since 2002. But unfortunately the dimensions i require arnt published in any post, and i have gone though them all since the forum started again. If i could do it myself i wouldn't ask but i've spent hours and hours reading post after post.
I dont expect anyone to make a special effort and take their car apart, but if someone was in that area i just need them to glance a ruler on a few things.

Fair comment, well done and good luck with the getting the info. I may be able to help as I intend to bleed my brakes at the weekend but intentions has a way of being replaced by other temptations.
