After being coopless for 734 days, I decided I needed another. The plan was to save for six months and buy a Plus. Of course, to whet my appetite, I'd have to have a look at the coupé's for sale section, naturally! And then... Love struck! There she was, all shiny looking, her sultry headlights winking at me "come get me big boy" I felt a stirring in my loins.. then I realised the cat's paw was on my nether regions. Still, I REALLY wanted the coupé. So I put baby Malc up for sale on the Rallye Register (not a patch on here by the way) and it was sold the very next day! Now all I had to do was view my coop-to-be and put a deposit on her. 9 days later, and I'm a coupé owner again! I have to say, it's a good feeling She's a '99 Steel Grey 20VT, Just done 100K, but she's in really good nick, better than my old one. Aircon, Black Leather, ten CD changer, original Clarion head unit (which is pretty god damned good!) refurbed front wheels. Some pics: Check out my oil pressure (hot) I'd say that's pretty good for a 100K miler running 10w-40 Oil. Still think a voltage meter is NAFF! I'd have never thought of metallic silver, but I have to say it's a really nice colour! the metal flakes sparkle in the glorious sunshine. Plans? Well obviously keeping it on the road as opposed to keeping it as a garden ornament I'm not as hard up now so shouldn't be a problem. She's going to JBT for a full cambelt and service, and then enjoy her standard. Only mods on her are the exhaust (not my taste!) and a K+N. I'll probably whack a forge DV006 and change the K+N for a Blitz SUS filter, but that's it! (he says). Well, thanks for having me back!
Coopless!

Nice car Matt and some lovely photos too. I think the 2nd to last one on the bottom row (fully side on) really shows off that classy colour

Well, thanks for having me back! I don't recall you actually going away..... I reckon everyone (you included) knew you'd have another one sooner or later. OK - turned out to be 'later' but at least you've finally seen the light and come home Looks very good - definitely lowered and looks very nice with the coloured sills and the LE grille (or is it just painted?) It needs some proper tyres on it (not sure the Sumo Firenza is really capable of handling 220bhp through the front wheels) Also good to see that you've stepped onto The Slippery Slope already - DV and filter is how I started....
