We seem to have loads of threads regarding exhaust sounds. I thought I'd start a thread where we can all 'show off' our great sounding engines...

You never know, this may just stick!

Here we go then...

1. FCSS Vinci Project, Test exhaust 1 - Click to listen

2. FCSS Vinci Project, Test exhaust 2 - Click to listen Seriously loud, WARNING - swear word in video

3. Members exhaust sounds at RAF Cosford Meet (Starts at 38 seconds in) - Click to listen

Mine sounds very similar to this smile

It sounds really nice when at high rpm you take your foot off the throttle and on wind down burbles and sounds very 5pot

Do it Nello, it's been just over a week now & the exhaust is sounding really sweet. When I first drove back from Motormech it gave me a bit of a headache!!! crazy But now it's settled down. Still burbles & pops & has a nice throaty rasp when on the power. You won't regret it. cool

I'm old and this thread just makes me want to start killing people, just like the little kids with Saxo's that drive up and down the road with loud exhausts doing about 60mph in a 30mph zone.

When I join the police as an loud exhaust owner exterminator, I will hunt you down cop

lol C'mon Jim - For me one of the prime reasons for owning a Cooope is the noise of those 5-pots.... Anything that emphasises that sound has gotta be good.......and I don't do Chav!

I agree here, I'm no youngster, but the 5pot sound & as long as it's a moderate wink rasp...sorry burble, well...sounds good to me.Oh & I'm too old to be a chav. laugh

I'm an old git & happy with it,most of the time

Jimbo will have taken out his false teeth and gone to bed by now so here's mine:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CSBLrLIAE5M

Now where's my hoodie? I'm off to drive up and down the street, mug some old people, spread chlamydia and other stereotypical things that young people do according to the Daily Mail like nobody ever did that in the 1950's 60's and 70's.

Really not sure on that, does it have any silencers? It's lost it really deep gurgle.

I hope my new system sounds the tits as I should get it back today at some point or possibly tomorrow.

Yep, two. Check out the description. Yeah, loss of burble is down to the tubular manifold. The stock log manifold is what makes the cool burble - ironically because it's [censored]! I don't care though I don't build my exhaust systems to sound pretty I build 'em to make power!

What the... Why is the word [censored] censored?!

Fitted me a straight through cat back yesterday and oh my god what a transformation i now feel i have the show to go with the go!!

Theres a fair few country lanes around my area with excellent bends and the noise that comes from my coop when driving around them is just amazing!!

I do have the odd moment when i think hmmm is that too loud but then i just put me foot down and all i can think of is that sounds good!!

Just brought a little keyring video camera one of the other members suggested that he used on one of his videos so as soon as that arrives il do a little video and put it up

Full 3" mandrel-bent T304 stainless all the way through including custom 3" downpipe. 1 small rear box with 4" slash cut.

Absolutely spot on, albeit a little loud but my god it spools up fast now!

Sounds nice Did, it's hard to capture good quality sounds with recording devices though, isn't it mate! Mine never sounds like it does to the ear on these things

No definitely not, it doesn't capture the burble and the cackling or the overall volume. Useless sound recorders!
