just wondering what the button on my dash does ,locks or unlocks because it does nt seem to work it has a door pic on it does it do all the locking or is it something to do with the alarm .thanks

It locks all the doors when you're inside the car, so nobody from outside can get in.

ok does nt work on mine locks then unlocks straight away any ideas ?

You have a door open, or at least the car thinks you have a door open.

Do you have any problems with the RCL? You might find a sticky lock or dodgy locking motor might be at play here - unless all doors lock at same time it will unlock itself straight afterwards. Had this on mine. Turned out to be dirt in the drivers side lock barrel.

no problems with RCL as far as i can tell might have to give locking motor a good clean .is it an easy job are there any how too guides thanks
